Public Transportation - Metro

There are several ways to get to Cal State L.A. via public transportation. Cal State L.A. is the only University in Southern California with a Metrolink station located adjacent to campus. There are also several bus lines that serve the Cal State L.A. campus, operated by both the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) and Foothill Transit. Los Angeles Union Station is just 8 minutes (2 stops) via buses on the El Monte Busway, or 5 miles by car.

If you plan to drive to campus and park, please use the campus map to determine where to park. We will be meeting in the Student Union for all of our events. Please park in Structure C off of Circle Dr. It is a 5-minute walk to the Student Union. Parking cost is $4 for 4 hours and $10 for all day.

Parking at Plaza de la Raza is free. There is lots of parking right outside the space.

Lyft/Uber Drop-Off for Visitors

Visitors can be dropped at designated Cal State LA Uber/Lyft drop offs located at the Transit Center or Student Union. Please see campus map for locations.
