Membership dues are one way of sustaining the AJAAS organization. We invite you and/or your organization to become a member of AJAAS. This membership runs from November 2025 to July 2026. Our membership runs on an academic fiscal year August (Year) to July (Following Year). By signing up to be a member, you will receive a discounted registration rate and your membership will be in good standing until July 31st, 2026.
As a grassroots organization, we are working on providing a more sustained membership dues process in the future. For any questions regarding membership, please email ajaasnational@gmail.com with the subject line: AJAAS Membership Dues_FirstNameLastName.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
Includes (a) discounted registration for AJAAS sponsored conferences and symposia; (b) voting rights at all elections and annual general member business meetings; (c) possibility of being featured on the AJAAS webpage (“Member Spotlight”); (d) inclusion in online member directory; (e) participation in AJAAS listserv; (f) access to Jotería Studies Library on our members page (as available); (g) access to bi-monthly AJAAS newsletter).

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP
Includes (a) official recognition of membership in programming for bi-annual conference, (b) link to your institution (department) from AJAAS website members page, (c) complimentary student memberships for up to three students (includes undergraduate and graduate students), (d) inclusion in online member directory (optional), (e) access to bi-monthly AJAAS newsletter.
Flat Fee Academic Institutional membership fee: $300 per year
Flat Fee Community Center/Non-profit membership fee: $150 per year
